A commission for , easily the one I've spent the longest on due to time lapses on both ends - but it's finally finished! Yeyeyey. Hopefully it doesn't stick out TOO much, as the art is definitely older.
This is Kagura from Inu-Yasha...reborn so to speak. She was saved from death by Freya (from Valkyrie Profile.)
Here's a small excerpt explaining this comm, written by : "So Lennith," says Kagura, "I feel like you must have many questions right now. But first let's get something out of the way. You must be wondering about what happened back there when we faced Kana. Why I was able to use Ether Strikes?" "Yes." says Lennith, "That was a little.... odd. Although you appear to be a demon, you do not have the same aura as one. Tell me, do you know Freya?" "Yes." says Kagura, "Although I was once a demon, it was Freya who saved me from that fate with her own blood." "Her..... blood?" says Lennith.
"You see Lennith...." says Kagura, "In a way...... I am her daughter."
"Wait," says Lennith, "how can that be?!?!? You said yourself you were once a demon. And I do not recall Freya having any demonic children." "Yes," says Kagura, "I was once one of the demon race. But a little over ten years ago......"

In all senses one could ask me if I could ever make sense, however I just respond "not a snowball's chance in hell if it were floating in the center of a white dwarf star and everyone there is playing with flamethrowers on BBQ night. "
Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
