Slade's being quite nasty, and incites spells! Do note Volaster doesn't need to use any power words for his explosions, cause he is AWESOME at it. (As noted in the spell bits on Heartcore's info page!)

'A firebug in a podunk town' ...yes, Volaster/Carval's backstory is inspired by a few things, most notably the Trash Man in 'The Stand'. Volaster will even quote him, in time! I love that book whoooohmg.

I'm not generally a fan of Stephen King, but The Stand is the exception. I frikkin' LURV that book, to the point where I'm on my 2nd copy because the first got worn out. I try to read it at least once a year.

Now to decipher which Heartcore char is your expy of Larry Underwood...
