This is the starting realm of Heartcore! Did I mention there were literally 9 Hells? And a horrible miasma that keeps it separate from the rest of the world?
Now I can safely redo the first Chapter, because now a LOT of my world building is actually on paper, instead of in my head. Yee!
Those cat bees are called "Meefu"s, and the females dine on bloooood. The other creature is a blood jelly, and they have the same diet!
